We are seeing intense debates in Hollywood and beyond about who actually owns your face. If a studio scans a background actor for a single day of work, do they own that digital double forever? Can they use that likeness in a completely different movie ten years later without paying the actor again? These aren't just theoretical questions for celebrities; they are becoming vital concerns for anyone who has ever uploaded a high-quality selfie to the internet.
Beyond the legalities, there is a deeper psychological layer to this shift. There is something inherently strange about the idea of a digital version of yourself living a completely separate life on screen.
